Magellan was a Portugese explorer that discovered a southern route to the Spice Island (Indonesia). His fleet of ships sailed from Spain to the coast of Brazil and to the Philipines. Where he was killed in a battle with the local tribes. The last ship of Magellan sailed from Philipines and sailed via the Cape of Good Hope to Portugal. He was the first explorer to successfully sail around the world.

Magellan was a very brave and loyal character so we chose him as our RBL project.
