Where did he explore?

He set out from Spain down the western coast of Africa. He sailed west to South America. When he reached to the bottom of South America he traveled along the Pacific Ocean for three months until he got to the Phillipines. He went past Australia which was unknown then. Up past Africa back to Spain.

What did he use to explore?

- He was given 5 wooden ships from the King of Spain.Conception, San Antonio, Trinidad, Santiago and Victoria.

-He had a crew of 238 men in his fleet of ships.

- They ate biscuits full of grubs and drank water which was yellow. They also ate old bits of leather and sawdust.
